Home Alone and other news

Everyone is gone and I have the place to myself.  I have mixed feelings about that, but since I still have to work tomorrow I think it will be a nice quiet evening.  I got Dexter season 3 from Netflix today so I may fire up the PS3 and put that in, or I may spend some time playing Assassins creed 2 on the 360.  Not really sure.

I keep saying to myself that I am going to make it my new years resolution to keep this site up to date.  In preparation for that I have not been updating it very often until that time comes for the following reasons:

• I want to make sure that I put things here that are of importance to me.
• Some of the things I put here will be my own views on some taboo topics that may offend some people and I want to be sure that I have the right tone.
• Because of the nature of some of the topics I will probably address, it may come about as not only a surprise to some people that haven't been around me for the past few years (No, I'm not Gay, not that there is anything wrong with that)  but it may put some things in perspective to those who know me best.
• I want this place to be a spot that I can blurt out my thoughts, however controversial, and act as a sound board for others to share their opinions as well.  I want to let people tell me I'm wrong, show me the error of my ways, and offer me differing points of view. 
  

Free discussion among friends is what this is about.  Disagree with me?  Fine.  Agree with me? Cool.  Want me to bring up a topic for you?  Great!  Get pissed off because we don't agree on something?....

You'll get over it.
